Pastoral care and visiting

At LBC we take seriously the responsibility of caring for all those who are part of the fellowship.

All pastoral care is overseen by our Pastoral Care Team (PCT) that comprises Wendy Coles (Team Leader), Michael Walsh, Elaine Bayley, Margaret Wines, Jean Bone and the Pastors.  Their job is not to do all the caring but to ensure that it is done through the whole church family.

The Life Groups are the primary means of delivering pastoral care and the PCT's main job is to ensure that this works and that those not in a Group receive the care they need.

The PCT are also able to refer people to a range of other agencies including various forms of Christian counselling.

We have a particular concern for those who are newcomers to the church and a separate team seek to offer them the relevant help that they might need.
