Prayer

Prayer lies at the heart of LBC – it is the powerhouse and engine room.  We pray for the glory and honour of God the Father, to demonstrate our utter dependence upon the Lord Jesus Christ and to seek His power and strength through the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Groups

We invite all who consider LBC to be ‘their church’ to join one of our prayer groups that meet for one hour once a month. 

We have three special interest groups; 'Mission & Missionaries’ and ‘Children & Schools’ and 'Men's Ministry'.  The rest focus on the life and ministry of the church on the basis that unless we pray for the church no one else will. 

These groups are at different times of the day to ensure there’s a time to suit everyone!  6.30 am, 10.30 am, 12.30 pm,  8 pm and 10 pm.  See the noticeboard in the foyer to sign up.

Pray for a Change

Every other month we call the whole church together to pray, primarily for the life and ministry of the church.  These events are characterised by dynamic prayer interspersed with heartfelt worship.

Prayer Ministry after Church Services

After every main service we have a prayer ministry team comprising mature and trusted Christians available to pray with you. The team will be sitting at the front right of the church under the gallery.
