Sunday services
All are welcome to join us for our Sunday service which starts at 10:30am. It normally lasts for about an hour and a quarter and is particularly suitable for those with little or no church experience. There is a focus on giving thanks to God and to listening to what He has to say as the Bible is explained and applied to everyday life. Children and young people (from 0 to Year 9) leave for their own age-related programme after the first 25 minutes. Refreshments are served at the end of the service.
Music is an important part of our worship and the style varies from the traditional to the contemporary. We use video projection for displaying the words of hymns and songs and for the sermon outline. DVD/video is also used on occasions to illustrate the teaching.
We don’t take an offering during the service but invite those who wish to give to God’s work to use the box in the foyer.
All our sermons are recorded and are available from the tape desk at the end of the service. Please have a look at our church programme for further information.
In the evening we have a varied programme. The first Sunday in the month is a communion service and the second and fourth are what we call "Worship & Word". These are informal opportunities for drawing near to God and growing in relationship with Him. The third Sunday is occasionally a youth service. All Sunday evening events normally start at 7:00pm but times may vary.
