Luke wrote his account of the life of Jesus for someone who wanted to know for certain whether the things he had heard, about this man who claimed to be God, were true. This term we will continue to study Luke's careful investigation of Jesus and we will see how He enables us to live a transformed life of hope, joy and certainty in a difficult world.

On 22 January there will be no service at LBC but instead we will be aining the other churches in town at St Thomas' for a combined service which Dave Gooderidge is leading.

On 11 March we have a service focused on the incredible work of Compassion International which is bringing the Good News of Jesus in word and action to thousands of under resourced children around the world. That evening we're also screening an awe inspiring film that shows the difference Christians are actually making in regard to poverty.

On 26 February and 25 March we've got E4: E4Everyone (10.30 - 11.15) an all-age service, E4NRG (11.40 - 1.15 pm) an event for children and young people and E4 itself, a time of teaching, worship and ministry.

Sunday Morning Services 

Note that our Sunday Morning Services start at 10.30am and, except on the 4th Sunday of the month, finish at noon. On the 4th Sunday of the month we have E4: E4Everyone, an all-age service (10.30 – 11.15), E4NRG, an event for children and young people (11.40 – 1.15pm) and E4 itself, a time of teaching, worship and ministry which finishes at 1.15pm.

Sunday Evening Services

1st Sunday Communion Celebration – a great opportunity for all ages to come together for worship, Word and the Lord’s Supper, 6pm

2nd Sunday 7pm (apart from October) “Second Sunday at 7” a time of waiting upon the Lord for His Word and ministry.

3rd Sunday Mens Night – an evening of challenge, encouragement and Bible Study for men, 7.15pm for 7.30pm
