Men's activities at Lymington Baptist Church

Our Church has a fair mix of people of both sexes and all ages.  Mostly, we all take part in the same things, but sometimes men and women want to have their own activities.  That's where Men's Stuff comes in.

Men's Stuff is about two things.  Firstly, and most importantly, we have a real desire to introduce men to Jesus and to help them live the life he came to bring.  We feel that other men can really benefit from this and we want to help them to achieve it. To do this, we need to work together and we need to do it in a way that is relevant to men. We often have a Men’s Night on the third Sunday of each month - see Coming Events for the next one. Come along and find out more as this is not just for men from the church but is for all guys in the area and for those just interested in finding out more about Jesus. Oh, and secondly, we want to enjoy each other's company, support each other and have a good time!

What else are we are doing?

We encourage guys to meet in twos and threes for prayer and support. Then, a couple of times year we'll have a cooked breakfast in a quality venue with a Christian speaker.  It's inspirational talks over a great fry up that brings our men's group together and we want the speakers to excite you enough to want to bring along your friends.

Nationally, men make up 4 out of every 10 people in UK Churches.  We'd like to make that 5! We feel that churches generally need to gear-up to provide the sort of services and events that men are comfortable with.  We also want to say a big thanks for the support we have from Christian Vision For Men, a national organisation whose mission is to do just that, so we are pleased to partner with them as we move forward in "men’s stuff".
