Safeguarding Children and Young People in the Church
Lymington Baptist Church recognizes its responsibilities for the safeguarding of all children and young people under the age of 18 regardless of gender, ethnicity or ability, as set out in current Legislation.
Members of Lymington Baptist Church commit themselves to nurture, protect and safeguard all children and young people taking part in church activities on or off site.
A policy and practice document has been developed (presently being reviewed) to assist members and leaders to safeguard children and young people.
Our designated person for Safeguarding is Trevor Pogmore who will advise and take appropriate action where necessary.
